Liar’s Dice, starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Geetanjali Thapa is an official indian entry for oscar this year.

Liar's DiceLiar’s Dice is a story about kamala(gitanjali thapa) who leaves in a village near simla.

Kamala comes to delhi with her daughter and pet got in search of her missing husband. She is in trouble and meets nawajuddin and what happens next is the story of film.

As usuall the film is not released officially in theaters but showed in film festivals. The film won two National Awards this year – Best Actress for Geetanjali Thapa and Best Cinematography.

Liar’s Dice has been seen in film festivals such as faraway Sundance and It was screened at last year’s Mumbai Film Festival and was very appreciated.

After lagaan this years oscar selection was tough for ffi as there are very much entries for oscar but the Liar’s Dice beat them all like queen , mardani , marathi film yellow .
