| Purpose |
| Drive the growth agenda for SBIGIC through developing the Agency & Dealership Channels and driving higher penetration for the Channel at the location; Engage with the key stakeholders across the channel partner network |
| Key Responsibilities |
| Strategic | - Understand the key priorities and plans for the organization, Sales & Distribution Network/ Region and the Agency Channel
- Understand the key plans for the Agency & Dealership Channels at the Branch
- Ensure ongoing research on the current dynamics within the allocated geography (for the respective Channel)

| Functional/ Operational | - Drive achievement of the Branch sales objectives for the Agency & Dealership Channels
- Ensure the delivery of the planned product-mix portfolio to the customers leveraged through the Agency & Dealership Channels
- Drive focus on aspects of agent/ dealer/ customer acquisition and retention at the Branch level
- Drive implementation of the key sales initiatives planned for the Agency & Dealership Channels at the location
- Work in close coordination with the Underwriting, Operations and Claims/ SCM teams at the Branch (Regions/ HO as required), to ensure effective coordination and efficient execution of processes pertinent for Sales/ Customer Service
Channel Partner Management - Identify key Agents to be on-boarded, with guidance from Branch Channel Head – Agency
- Ensure timely licensing and activation of the agents; Build relationships with the Agents/ Dealers to drive higher penetration of their accounts
- Share data/ information with the Agents/ Dealers as per requirement
- Ensure regular deployment of training and capability development interventions for the Agents/ Dealers
- Share the feedback received from Channel Partners and the Branches with superiors for suitable action
